INTRODUCTION

This social venture of setting up a Nursing School in Labpur has been initiated by College Trust under its Social Responsibility initiatives; which amongst others, focuses on skill development and generating livelihood opportunities for the local people and to meet the increasing demand of qualified nurses all over the country.

The Trust of this College is a well-known service organization with its mission primarily based on the principles of Swami Vivekananda who preached "man making, nation building" as the basic objective. Swami Vivekananda stressed on serving humanity as he could visualize that "There are lots of poor people sunk in degradation and misery who need to be served with zeal and enthusiasm and needful action to be taken to help them in alleviating their problems and making their life a better one".
